Buildings are machines that can be created by the Engineer. The four available buildings are the following:

An Engineer may not construct more than one building of each type at a time. Engineers require Metal to create, upgrade, and repair buildings.

Like players, buildings have health, and are destroyed when health is reduced to zero. The Spy can disable and slowly damage buildings over time using the Electro sapper weapon. Damaged buildings emit smoke and sparks.

Buildings are erected automatically after being deployed, but can be built twice as fast by hitting it repeatedly with the Engineer's Wrench during construction. Having more than one engineer hitting a building under construction stacks the effect. A Building can be deliberately destroyed by using the destroy menu (default: 5). This is useful for repositioning a building or for recollecting metal., as a building will explode into broken metal pieces upon destruction.

Critical hits do not cause extra damage to buildings. Also weapons do not suffer from damage drop off on buildings, regardless of distance every hit does the same damage (excluding splash).

Player stats keep track of the number of buildings created and destroyed (listed under "most destructions").

Water does not have any effect on buildings. All buildings in Team Fortress 2 work underwater, as well as on dry land.

Scattergun: 6 damage per pellet. 10 pellets per shot

Pistol: 15 damage

Bat: 35 damage

Soldier

Rocket(Direct): 90 damage

Shotgun: 6 damage per pellet. 10 pellets per shot

Shovel: 65 damage

Pyro

Flamethrower: 6.8 damage (The game keeps track of decimals)

Shotgun: 6 damage per pellet. 10 pellets per shot

Backburner: 6.8 damage

Flaregun: 20 damage

Axtingisher: 65 damage

Demoman

Grenades: ~110 damage (Even direct hits differs by 1-2 damage)

Sticky: ~110 damage (Can't really get direct hit)

Bottle: 65 damage

Heavy

Minigun: 9 damage per bullet. 4 bullets per shot

Shotgun: 6 damage per pellet. 10 pellets per shot

Fist: 65 damage

Natascha: 6 damage per bullet. 4 bullets per shot

KGB: 65 damage

Engineer

Shotgun: 6 damage per pellet. 10 pellets per shot

Pistol: 15 damage

Wrench: 65 damage

Sentry Bullet: 16 damage

Sentry Rocket: 100 damage

Medic

Needlegun: 10 damage

Bonesaw: 65 damage

Blutsauger: 10 damage

Ubersaw: 65 damage

Sniper

Sniper Rifle: 50min - 150max damage (Depending on charge)

SMG: 8 damage

Kukri: 65 damage

Spy

Revolver: 40 damage

Knife: 40 damage

Sapper: 25 damage per second

Revolver(Sapped Sentry): 13.2 damage

Knife(Sapped Sentry): 13.2 damage
