Clans

Clans are groups of players who play together regularly as part of a group. Many have their own Steam Groups and host their own servers. Some of these are password protected but most are open to the public. Clan members are often indicated by prefixes or tags in their Steam name or by certain avatar images.

Clans usually consist of a founder, a collection of admins, and veteran and/or regular members.

Clans often engage in battle with one another for fun or for official competitions, with many of the more skilled clans being well known throughout the TF2 Community.
