HK Central

HK Central is the community upheld and run by the Hells Kitchen clan. The HK Clan runs 6 servers, 5 of which are Vanilla settings, geared towards competitive play in a fun and enticing atmosphere. In addition to having many admins available at various hours, the community also has a plethora of regular players whom help introduce new TF2 players to the game and servers.

Servers

The servers run by HK Central are geared towards helping introduce new players to the game in a "Newbie-Friendly" environment while still maintaining a level of play that is fun and challenging for other players. Five servers are run by the HK Clan:

The regulars and members of the HKCentral Community run and maintain their own server with different settings (including all-talk).

Server Rules

In order to maintain a great community and fantastic environment for TF2, the HK servers have a few rules in place. These rules encourage fair play and make the game more fun for everyone.

The Official Rules:

Do not promote or use cheats, glitches, or tactics that would disrupt the gaming atmosphere as determined by the admin.
Do not disrespect other players, or the admins. Racism, sexism, and discrimination will not be tolerated. There will be a level of civility that will be maintained.
Do not spam ANY chat channels with repetitive text, music, or excessive and irrelevant communication (voice, team chat, global chat). This includes our forums and servers.
Do not solicit or advertise your clan, server, or organization in the server.
Do not medic to medic uber. As a medic go help your team.
Clan stacking is not allowed in our newbie servers. We aggressively enforce this and will do so at any time.
Do not say F10 jokes.
Do not impersonate an admin or another known player.
Do not attempt to avoid an admin action.
Do not loiter in the server if the server is full (includes but not limited to: spectating and idling in the game server when it's full, or spectating for an extended period of time, the Arena server is exempt if you are waiting your turn). Keep play in motion, if you are not playing, leave so another person may join.
No racism or religious insults in any form, even joking will be an immediate Permaban. (Nigga and similar words ARE against the rules!)
No inappropriate gaming names, no religious or racial names as determined by the admin. No Starred out names.
As of 10/18/09 setup killing is allowed on HK Servers as long as it is not an exploit of the map.
If an admin team switches a player they can do so at there discretion and their decisions are final. Never avoid an auto balance or go spectate to get switched back.
Spawn camping is FORBIDDEN on all newbie servers. See rules on spawn camping to clarify (Two or more exits from spawn usually mean blocking one is not camping, except in special instances).
Know that our servers run KAC anti cheat . If you played with your CVAR settings you will most likely be kicked, set them to default to play here. For instance r_aspectratio should be 0.
