The P.D.Q. is an unlockable melee weapon for the Engineer in the closed beta, the attributes of which were leaked by testers. The P.D.Q. does not yet possess a unique model, texture, or animations; using the same as the regular wrench. The P.D.Q. cannot be used to upgrade buildings, instead increasing the Engineer's rate of construction by 150% percent. It is not yet known whether damage values vary from the regular wrench.

Since the item is still in testing stages, these attributes may be changed or the weapon scrapped entirely.

• The name is a reference to the abbreviated acronym for "Pretty Damn Quick" (alternatively "Pretty Darn Quick" or "Please Do Quickly"), sometimes appended to the end of an instruction or command to communicate urgency.
