Does the Ubercharge drain speed multiplier have a cap? --NiteCyper 23:29, 5 April 2008 (CDT)
- I tested with some bots standing very close to each other. Uber one target only: bar depletes in 8 seconds (with the "lingering" effect afterwards). Two targets: 5 seconds. Three targets: 4 seconds. I could not reliably uber more than three targets without the.. uh, well, I mean I couldn't keep more than three plates spinning. I think that you could define the practical "cap" of the speed penalty at -4 seconds of Uber bar. Everyone touched still gets the lingering effect after the beam disengages from them, of course. --Wipnum 19:59, 7 April 2008 (CDT)
Kritz heals more?
Is this true? - The Kritzkrieg heals at +25% the rate of a medigun. I'm not sure if the person adding it meant it charges faster and just mistyped it or whether it really does heal faster. --Sky 07:16, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
- It does to make up for the highly situational kritzcharge.--Wilsonator 07:46, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
- It refers to a faster special-ability charge rate, not the general healing rate. Terr 07:58, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
- Well if it refers to the +25% faster charge rate then it should be The Kritzkrieg charges at +25% the rate of a medigun. not heals. But I'm actually no sure if it doesn't heal faster, just don't have the means to test it now... --Sky 08:09, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
Starting out with 25% Ubermeter?
I recently unlocked my Ubersaw. Is that a side-effect, or is it caused by a bug or something? Totema1 00:17, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
No, some servers have a mod where you can right click with the medi-gun to drop health at the expense of ubercharge, and you start with 25% ubercharge at the beginning of the round. --DJTricky 20:10, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
Self uber?
It is possible to uber yourself, right? (activate a ubercharge without selecting anyone) --DaMailman
- It is possible to ubercharge oneself without healing anyone, however you cannot change weapons while you have ubercharged yourself or your invulnerability will no longer be of service. You can regain invulnerability through switching back to the medigun before the charge completely depletes. (It will constantly drain once you initiate it and will not stop until it has reached 0%.) This would generally be a good choice for making a run for safety or becoming a momentary distraction for sentry guns, or maybe even getting a free ride off of an enemy demoman's sticky grenades. All of this holds true for the Kritzkrieg, except for the parts pertaining to invulnerability. Charging oneself with the Kritzkrieg doesn't appear to be useful in any hypothetical situations, but if any are found, update the strategies or post here. --GutsMan 23:43, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
