Is she really the CEO of BLU and RED?

Where did you guys found the evidences to say that? If thats just because she said she pays the mercenaries salaries on the War update, that can be one of her functions: finding mercenaries, hiring and paying them, while BLU or RED pays her for that. And i mean, fighting you own men would be just stupid...the CEO of BLU is probably a descendant of Blutarch and the CEO of red is probably a descendant of Redmond, and they fight for each others possessions (as seem in Zepheniah Mann testament). The Administrator must be completly neutral and a descendant of Elizabeth. It would be just retarded if her paid mercenaries to fight each other when she owns both companies.

Where did that picture come from?--KorontheNeko 19:17, 19 October 2008 (UTC)KoronofHearts

It's not official. It just turned up in google images.--Wilsonator 21:29, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

  • The most recent blog post reveals that her rendition was used for the Announcer.

The Administrator

Valve has officially changed the name of the TF Announcer to The Administrator

  • Nope. --Crazylicious 03:47, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
    • Well, NOW it is.

Hmm...

Has anyone else noticed that McLain always voices evil characters from VALVE games? GLaDOS tried to kill Chell, and the combine are outright murderous. And the Announcer... I'd say she's pretty evil. --TIGERmedic

Evil or Clone?

We say that the Announcer might be playing both sides but what if like all other classes she can be on both sides at the same time but be two different people? --DontEatRawHagis 00:16, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

I was going to say. It's hard to say that it means anything that the Announcer is the same on both sides, when everyone else is the same on both sides, too... --Aquillion 08:29, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

New blog post

The newest blog post revealed her face! It's very similar to the artist's rendition. She is also shown to control both teams and she has a helper (maybe a secretary?) called Miss Pauling! This should be added to the page, right? OluapPlayer 23:09, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

  • I took care of it, my boy. You can feel free to rewrite anything, though. I also made a section on Miss Pauling on the Non player characters page. Stickmeister 23:46, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
Thank you :) I was going to write about it but I couldn't get a good image of the Announcer. OluapPlayer 23:40, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Move to The Administrator

The recent reveal of the Announcer is now officially called the Administrator. Shall we move it and change everything to "The Administrator"?

I'll get round to it in just a bit. Also, don't forget to sign your edits.--Wilsonator 15:35, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Original Image from Makani

Shouldn't the original fanart by artist Makani be included in this page? After all, Valve took inspiration from her drawings. -- Kid Of The Century 10:44, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

We can link to it I guess. We don't really need it up on the page now since we have an official interpretation. --Wilsonator 15:35, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Don't just suggest it, do it! Honestly, simple things like this you don't need to ask for someone to complete. Big changes, like the one above where a lot of pages may need changing might be a good idea to discuss , but not simple things like this that only affects one page. If you mess up, you only have to undo the changes, don't be scared about getting stuck in. --urora (talk | contribs) 16:20, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
I'd already included a link to it in the whole "history of the Announcer's face" trivia as of when you wrote that comment. As long as the file isn't deleted off the wiki any time soon, I figure we'll be fine. --Shadow Hog 16:43, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

The Comic

I noticed something very strange in the comic. The Administrator refers to BLU as "Blue Team". I find this strange (sorta). El Weegee 16:23, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Probably a minor oversight by the writers, i'm guessing. --Wilsonator 17:19, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
