Why is he laughing?
After saying, "It costs $400,000 to fire this weapon, for 12 seconds" why was he laughing? Was it because it really doesn't cost $400,000 to fire it? Or was it just he was just laughing at how serious he was acting there. Any comments?--CountDOODOO 17:41, 1 December 2007 (CST)
He's laughing because he doesn't give a damn how much his gun costs to maintain because he just loves to kill stuff. Also, RED probably pays for all of it.--Wilsonator 06:34, 2 December 2007 (CST)
"Alright... Who touched my gun" question
In this Meet the Class video, anyone hear the "Alright..." in "Who touched my gun." part? I didn't hear it. --CountDOODOO 18:17, 2 January 2008 (CST)
- It's after the chair squeaks against the floor, and it's a lot quieter than his other lines. --Joffeloff 20:48, 2 January 2008 (CST)
Thanks for the help. I didn't notice it before.--CountDOODOO 21:18, 2 January 2008 (CST)
Actually, it's not "Alright...", it's "Urod...", which is russian for "bastard" -Mudkip 16:42, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
The $200 bullets
One of the notes says this: "Doing the math, when the Heavy says that his minigun fires 10,000 bullets per minute that makes 10,000/60=166.6666667 a second. Multiply that by 12 = 2000 bullets. With his claim that it cost 400,000 dollars to fire this round for 12 seconds that makes 400,000/2000 = 200.00 dollars per bullet. That is one expensive bullet. This was confirmed with the new Domination sounds for the scout update."
According to the transcript the Heavy says the following: "...and fires two hundred dollar, custom-tooled cartridges..." Why is there need for this note, then? And about this being confirmed with the new Scout domination sounds; I think this movie already "confirmed" it. --Count Hanx 00:12, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
I think the bullets cost more, thats in 1960's money. In today's currency, it would cost over one million dollars to fire that for 12 seconds, no doubt that the bullets are expensive as hell.
a red team member dies?
Looking at the background at 1;07 you might be able to see a soldier or pyro walking along the platform connected to the CP where an explosion explodes behinds and the pyro/soldier precedes to fall down dropping his rocket launcher/backburner?
Possible Gibbed Scout Explanation
Early on in the battle scene at the end, parts of a gibbed Scout (along with his Scattergun) rain down behind the heavy with no explanation as to where they came from and how it happened.
Is it possible that this happened:
Scout runs out of spawn (up the stairs), sees the Heavy tries to get a good shot with the Scattergun by running close to him. He does a double jump before he gets there, but his is killed by the Sentry's Rockets and is thus gibbed.
Not saying this is what happened, but sounds possible. El Weegee 18:03, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
