Article Bias

The "Threat" section of this article is highly biased. Every class is listed as a high threat (except for the Pyro himself). I would argue that a Medic is a high threat to the pyro unless he has a patient, and even then usually not. This article needs to be edited without bias. Um, pretty much every class can beat a pyro 1v1, even a scout or a spy if he's revolvering.--DL

Demoman

Should the demoman realy be a threat? I find that his low speed makes closing distance somwhat easy, and his lack of close range weaponry means he is one of the Pyro's easier targets. Add in the fact that with the same base health the burning effect gives bias towards the pyro, not to mention the flamethrower's great damage. From my experience demoman should be a medium to low threat, unless you're doing something silly like chasing him around corners. FireCrack 19:23, 3 January 2008 (CST)

When you're up in a Demoman's face, his grenade launcher is an up close weapon, and does about the same damage as a rocket to the face, ow. Even if you strafe, the closer you get, the easier it is for a good Demoman to take you out. A skilled demoman can also, quite frustratingly, juggle you in the air or kill you by laying sticky bombs as you try to get to him.--Wilsonator 05:16, 4 January 2008 (CST)

I would agree with that, a good Demoman is a high threat to any class. Although I do agree that a bad Demoman is one of the easiest targets for a Pyro (although I would say there are other classes that are easier). --Aurora 10:19, 4 January 2008 (CST)

Yes, it's true he is a higher threat than most classes, after all he is one of the games "True combat" classes. But he's not as dangerous as a soldier, as the article would lead you to believe. FireCrack

Scout

I really can't see a Scout being classified as a "High" threat to the Pyro. Yes the scout is faster, but the Scattergun is not effective at a distance, and the Scout does not have the health to stand up to a flamethrower at close range. Given two players of similar skill levels, I'd put my money on the Pyro in a 1v1 fight. I would think it would be a "medium" threat at most. --Nos 08:40, 15 April 2008 (CST)
