Talk:Respawn area

Recent changes (1st April 2008)
The recent changes made by user Minzerta2010 were as follows:
While the respawn area is mostly safe, it is not totally safe. By using the exploit to enter an enemy resupply area, a skilled player may be able to get into the respawn area. They must wait until an opposing player leaves the respawn area and while the doors are open, rush in. Though this is a rare occurance, spys can get numerous backstabs by doing this. However, when its doors are closed, opposing players cannot enter or shoot into it, even during humiliation.
Now I don't know what version this inteded, but this isn't true on the PC version. The exploit mentioned is only on 2fort (and only possible using rocket/grenade jumps), you cannot get into the respawn area when the doors open, all doors have a functional invisible wall that blocks opposing teams except during humiliation. I've reverted these changes until someone explains this exploit, and what version of the game and map it's on. --Aurora 10:28, 2 April 2008 (CDT)
- It's an exploit present on the 360 version of the game (and possibly the PS3). If you are on team Red, it's possible for you to enter the Blu resupply room by crouching to the right of the giant "No entry" sign, and crouch-walking forward. Then you can get to the respawn point by waiting for someone to go through the doors and running in, allowing you to backstab people as they spawn. It only works on 2fort, and can only be done at the main resupply room. And the rocket/grenade jumping into the other resupply room is still very well possible in the 360 version.
- As for that "cannot enter during humilation" bit, I think the person who made this edit means the actual area were the team spawn. But I'm not too sure. That's just what I gather from that bit. But hopefully I gave you the info you needed to know for the exploit itself. AAAAAARRRRR 13:22, 2 April 2008 (CDT)
