Scout update responses

With the new update, Scout has got a SLEW of new responses, most of the ones I've noticed are of dominations, I've added some but there are many more still not up there.

Here's some domination responses: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IX__swbUwag&feature=channel_page He also talks about the Payload like the Heavy, and of course he has sound effects for BONK. --Kaysakado 21:49, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

Brooklyn Vs. Boston

The Scout is from Brooklyn, not Boston.

It's clearly shown in his taunts. For example the use of the word "youse" (as in "youse guys"), and the significant lack of the r->h pronunciation that the Boston accent is famous for ("car" being said as "cah"). --WanderingFox 13:49, 15 November 2007 (CST)

Intel Cap Response

When he caps the intel, the Scout occasionally says (something like), "I got your secret crap, losers!" -Unknown (credit yourself!)

Also, this might be Xbox only, but I often hear him say, "I got it, I got it, I got it!" Midaki 10:40, 18 January 2008 (CST)

Yeah, he does say the 'I got it, I got it, I got it!" upon capping, and he says "Wave goodbye to your secret crap, dumbass!" when you take the intel, but not when you cap it.--Wilsonator 10:55, 18 January 2008 (CST)
Ah, it's already there. I was looking under the wrong section. Right you are. Midaki 20:04, 18 January 2008 (CST)

Domination response

Being the poor scout that I am, I rarely hear any sort of these responses. However, recently after dominating a sniper I heard a shamwow reference. "Order [or act] now, and get twice the beatings!" --Iban 05:06, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Correction: I obviously overestimated that situation. The listed response is to a revenge kill. :P --Iban 05:13, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Domination/General kill changes

Scout's dom/kill responses were shuffled around during the Spy/Sniper update. Now, you will get his old laughs by just killing people, and you're more likely to hear his new general domination taunts when he does get a new domination. Also, I don't believe he has any specific things he says when he kills more than 5 people. I'm changing the page to reflect this, please feel free to rectify where I might be wrong. Melee Dares

An update (probably War! update) made Melee Dares work for all classes that have them, I'm sure.

They're not unused anymore. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bommster (talk) • contribs) 02:24, 2 January 2010

Discussion conventions --urora (talk | contribs) 11:21, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Err yeah, I had signed before in some discussions, just was in a hurry. --Bommster 21:52, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

What exactly are you suppose to do to make a melee dare? I'm just curious. --DJTricky 22:17, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

Just switch to any melee weapon. Only works for some, and the Spy ones still seem to be unused. Heavy and Scout are the working ones I know. --Bommster 22:50, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

I tried Scout, Heavy, Sniper and Spy. None of them said anything new. OluapPlayer 15:03, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

About the links to the WAV files.

I've noticed something on this page. It seems whoever made this page, in some of the links to the WAV files, tried to use the [[ ]] brackets, within the WAV-link's [ ] brackets. That doesn't work out to well, as you can see in some of the domination links, because the link to the page that was placed inside the link to the WAV file, breaks the link abit.

So if there isn't any objections, I'm gonna go through and fix this little disaster. Daedryon 07:00, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
