Ubercharged.net
From TF2 Wiki

Content
The content on the ubercharged.net blog varies profoundly. It includes rants, parody posts, narratives, news reports(although those are more on machinima and player community projects than on official TF2 updates), and game and classes analysis and strategies. Posts on ubercharged.net sometimes feature hand-drawn illustrations, but more frequently feature scenes created in Garrys Mod.
Most posts are written by independent authors.
The posting schedule is erratic, though most posts are slated to appear around 10-11 AM or 10-11 PM GMT.
Series
Some post series on the site have become so recognizable that they've earned the status of series by tacit consensus of the community. These include:
- Ryebread's Class Stories - A series of first person narratives from the perspective of each of the TF2 classes.
- Players you Want/Don't Want on your Team Fortress 2 Team - An often farcical set of rants whining about (or extolling the virtues of, but mostly whining about) various members of the TF2 community.
- Musical Renditions - Complete rewrites of famous songs, using their rhymes and rhythms to create catchy and funny Team Fortress 2 related songs.
Contributors
One key factor to ubercharged's success is the flexibility of authors. Anyone is allowed to become an author, as long as the sites veteran authors approve of the content written first. This has lead to a wide diversity of articles and writing styles to the site.

Servers
The ubercharged.net servers are the usual point of encounter for most of the ubercharged.net regulars. Although vanilla games are mostly played, the first server was once famous for its occasional Zombie Fortress games and various shenanigans, such as melee only and low-gravity games. But recently, admins and server owners decided to put a stop to them, and only occur once in a blue moon. Micspam (playing music over voice chat using programs like HLDJ) soon became an issue and the community decided to limit it to quick voice clips or ban it altogether. Zombie Fortress has been removed as well due to a number of reasons and complaints. A second and third server were recently made, the second donated by The Scoot and the third ran by Clubtheseals and Himmelstoss

Train God
Starting through the forum and various posts, the Train God is the ubercharged.net born deity, ruling over the multiverse and Team Fortress 2. Its know apparitions are mainly on the Well maps, and on some Zombie Fortress maps. Although some TF2 maps may have trains, most are not eligible for Train God incarnation status; for instance, in melee_trainyard, it is possible for a player to stop a train, therefore, it is not the Train God. People can sacrifice themselves by being ran over by the Train God or if they die in the Sacrifice Hole⢠on one of the Zombie Fortress maps. Success on a Payload map also gives the winning team a blessing. UC has spawned many other deities. Dispenser God, Payload God, Giant Sniper Jarate God, God of Pie etc.
