About Me
Well hey there, you've found me! My name's Balphezar, and I'm the proprietor of The Prop Shop. I edit several wikis, but this one here is my own, and though its not much, I hope it will become as big as some of the other projects on the Wikia Network.
I'm a gamer and comic book fan at heart, and one night, while watching the movie Daredevil I looked at Matt Murdock's Billy-club/Walking Cane and thought 'Huh, that's a pretty awesome piece of tech right
there. Why don't they talk about that more?' And then I got the idea for The Prop Shop. A place on the internet where people could go to find out this trivial information about things like the Daredevil's Billyclub. Little fiddly bits of technology from movies, tv, comics and video games that other people might not care enough about to write in-depth articles.
But I do. And that's why I requested to start The Prop Shop, where people can write in-depth articles about those fiddly bits of technology we love so much.
Other Wikis I Edit
While The Prop Shop is my baby, I cut my teeth on editing other wikia projects first. I encourage you to go visit them, as I'm sure they'd appreciate the extra help.
Where I Get My Info
This information just doesn't pop out of the air, after all. Other wikis, through their tireless research, provide me with information that I can use for all sorts of purposes. The most important is, of course, Wikipedia. A endless pool of information for any and every subject, it is a great starting point for research. For comic book related material, there's no place better than the Marvel and DC database projects.
For Team Fortress 2, I do all of my research myself, through my extensive play of the game, both on Xbox 260 console and now on the computer.
