Nice job with the redirects and disambiguations! Clyde Frog 12:56, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
- Heh, thanks. I just did a couple randomly, but kept going without thinking about it much, and before I knew, it I sort've went OCD and wanted to do all I could think of, hah. G-Mang 13:10, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

Need your input
As you seem to be a big contributor to the wiki, I'd like you to read and comment on the "Class, ClassUnlocks, ClassUnlocksSpy, ClassUnlocksSniper etc, etc Templates - IMPORTANT" post in the Community Portal, thanks. --Aurora 01:41, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
Cropped Images
Ooh, what're they for? Shine 07:45, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Don't worry I'm not replacing your images on the article names. I'm just uploading cropped versions so they can be inserted into other places (like tables) without wasting space. :) ~G-Mang (T|C) 07:47, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- I was actually kind of hoping you were replacing them. I deplore the huge blank space around the objects in mine. Don't suppose I can convince you to ditch that rule can I? Shine 07:50, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Seems like a waste of server space to me. But fine. -- Smashman... (t • s • b) 07:48, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Well we can get rid of the old ones if you want. I honestly didn't think server space was a major concern. O_o ~G-Mang (T|C) 07:49, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- We've lately been getting rid of duplicated and unused files. These are basically duplicated, but with less white space. Just seems pointless. Don't get rid of the old ones. It's fine, just my minor gripe. -- Smashman... (t • s • b) 07:51, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
Well Shine's telling me it's OK to replace the old ones, so I'll just do that instead of adding new ones. :) Problem solved. ~G-Mang (T|C) 07:55, 30 April 2010 (UTC)Oh, I didn't realize you wanted the white space. Should I leave the old ones or replace them? ~G-Mang (T|C) 07:56, 30 April 2010 (UTC)- Not at all. Whitespace on Backpack images only. Everything else can be changed. -- Smashman... - Now you tell me this. ;_; Shine 15:36, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

- Alright, all the regular weapons are cropped. :) If anything's wrong please let me know. ~G-Mang (T|C) 02:54, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
Competitive Weapon Pages
Hey, G-Mang. I noticed that the Competitive Pages all have (red) links to competitive weapon pages. I was wondering if creating new pages for each weapon is really necessary, as all of the significant weapons' roles in competitive TF2 are covered in their classes' Competitive pages. The other weapons aren't used and their role could be summed up in a sentence or two.
On that note, I think each class's Comp. page should have "Recommended loadouts" or something similar. Just a thought.:) TheNeotank 02:35, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
- Hi Neotank. The competitive weapons are currently planned to have one article for each class (like Scout weapons (competitive)) that discusses weapon tactics, loadout choices, and detailed stats; having one article for every weapon was abandoned some time ago. As for putting it all on the class pages themselves, discussing loadout choices and such seems too specific to me to include on the class articles (maybe a brief outline/list about it, but detailed prose seems a bit much), but if you think that's not the case, I'm happy to discuss it.
- "Recommended loadouts" as a concept is interesting, but things shouldn't be framed like that--the articles aren't to recommend, they're to inform. Instead, we should include information on common loadouts, when they're used, and when variations are placed on them. Our job is not to give advice (the kind of stuff that's ruined pages like Spy strategy) but to inform people about common trends. Additionally, the act of recommending anything specifically would have the effect of adding value to game choices over others, which itself discourages variety in the meta. Say what's common, not what's "best".
- Since it looks like you've taken interest, I've added an outline to the competitive articles project here: Talk:Competitive play#Outline. Hopefully it should clear things up. :) ~G-Mang (T|C) 03:10, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
- Eh, I suppose "recommended" was the wrong word. "Commonly used" is more like what I meant. But then again, if you do indeed plan on making a "weapons" page for each class, I suppose that's kind of superfluous. A link to Scout weapons (competitive) would probably be enough, I guess.
- BTW, the example competitive class page as mentioned in your Outline should be the Soldier's (As close as you're going to get to a "standard" competitive class). Totally not biased here. :D TheNeotank 03:18, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
- If you don't like the concept of the class weapon articles, feel free to tell me. I'm happy to reconsider anything on the competitive articles.
- Lol. Soldier's definitely not a bad choice. If Soldier means I'll get more help, I'm not opposed to it. :P ~G-Mang (T|C) 03:28, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
- I'm guessing this means I should get started? Or should I wait till you finalize the Competitive Pages layout first? TheNeotank 19:37, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
[Class] weapons (Competitive)
Hi! I was just wondering if you intend to create these pages with a certain template or a specific design or whatever. Probably sticking my Wiki-mutilation skills where they don't belong, but... :) TheNeotank 20:53, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
Combo (Competitive)
Seeing that some of your competitive pages link to "Combo," I took the liberty of creating this page, not sure if it meets your standards. It's not done, of course, but (I hope) it's better than nothing? Just an FYI. TheNeotank 21:08, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
