Grammar and Punctuation

I've noticed you've been having a little trouble getting some of your grammar and punctuation correct, particularly apostrophes. Here's some pointers:

  • Plural: No apostrophe. Eg: The pyros jumped over the lazy dog.
  • Possessive: Apostrophe. Eg: The pyro's flamethrower is really hot.
  • Plural Possessive: Apostrophe after the s. Eg: The pyros' flamethrowers are all really hot.

For "its" and "it's":

  • Possessive: No apostrophe. Eg: The knife is deadly, but its best feature is it can still cut a tomato.
  • Contraction (of "it is"): Apostrophe. Eg: The knife is deadly, it's really sharp.
