Locations

Common Strategies

Overall

Warpath has natural choke points that allow for defensive cover as well as offensive action. No matter where the front is there are always at least two routes to it. Warpath has many different places where fighting can take place.

Four to One

When one team holds four of the Control Points and the other team is down to their last one there are many different strategies that can take place. Engineers tend to build their Teleporter entrances right at the mouth to their respawn room and then out to their main defensive area. One defensive technique used is to build a sentry and a dispenser where the walls to the final Control Point meet the back rock face, thus providing a natural barrier to opposing forces and especially spies. Other popular places include on top of the tunnel building, and inside the left side building.

Snipers tend to stay close to the far back wall in order to present the smallest profile, also the room at the end of the tunnel is another of their favorites.

Spies main job here is to attack the equipment at the front, which usually prevents further breakout by the defending team.

Demomen can find success by hanging back and spamming the front line which is usually just past the 2nd spawn point. This tactic may not be popular but in can be effective in halting advances.
